Charles Alsheimer predicted that the rut would happen this week. That kept me out there hoping to get lucky enough to find the right doe with the right buck. I hammered this dandy 10 point on Tuesday afternoon (11/18). 15 minutes after shooting a doe, I walked right up to it in it's bed.
