DEC Releases Log of Deer Season Arrests in Allegany and Wyoming Counties

The DEC has released a log of all arrests during deer season in Allegany and Wyoming Counties. Arrests include about everything one can imagine including jacking deer at night, hunting where rifles are not allowed, hunting over bait, illegally transferring DMPs, and shooting too close to a house among others.

Rifle Hunting May Be Expanded to Southern Livingston County

For those living in Livingston County, you should be aware that the Livingston County Federation of Sportsmen's Club is lobbying for a modification to the Department of Environmental Conservation Law that will allow for rifle hunting for deer and bear in Livingston County. The measure would only allow rifle hunting South of Route 20A.
