Empire Bucks Club Member: Chris Van Schaick

Chris Van Schaick worked this buck for 30 minutes before taking him at 75 yards
on the opening day of gun season. The buck was just out of range chasing a doe and
another buck. Chris passed on one shot only to kick himself when the buck walked
away. A few minutes later he came back and Chris was able to grunt and snort the
buck in to range this time.
Chris encountered this deer in bow season but was unable to get a shot. He did get
a nice picture of him that day (see below).
